SAT
The SAT is a standardized exam assessing high school students’ knowledge in reading, analysis, and math. International applicants for undergrad programs must take the digital SAT, offered seven times a year across 30 Indian cities. The exam consists of two sections: reading + writing and math, each scored between 400-800. Total scores are calculated from section marks, and results are released within 10-14 days. While some universities publish cutoffs, others don’t, and SAT remains popular, with 1.7 million test takers in 2022. Submitting scores can provide a comprehensive view for admission applications.
